I have really bad anxiety and stress but hate the idea of taking medication for it, so I'm always on the lookout for natural remedies, as well as practising mindfulness and meditating! I find smell can be really helpful so I'm constantly using candles and aromatherapy while I practise mindfulness so I can learn to use scent as a trigger to calm me down. I recently came across this easy roller ball by Tisserand, and thought it would be a great little handbag addition for when I feel stressed on the go! I'm really glad I found it; today, after getting seriously stressed out at work, I applied a big of this on my wrists and inhaled, and BOY does this smell good! It reminds me of spas (and anything that reminds me of a spa is always good, as being at one is probably the most relaxed I feel!) It smells a little bit like rose water initially until the complex mix of scents kicks in, leaving a lingering , spa-like smell for seconds after. It also feel warm on application, which I really like - it keeps you focused on the smell and application while you try to calm down. Definitely a big win for me! I'd love to try a pillow spray next for night time; I have a Badger Balm at the moment, but find you can't smell it unless your wrist is right next to your nose! Meli X
