I have a draw FULL of mascaras - that's not an exaggeration! Over the years of working for premium makeup brands, I've been given so many mascaras I can't actually remember the last time I bought one! Having said that, I have yet to find my "ride-or-die" mascara... that ONE mascara that will do it all! Lengthen, thicken, blacken - all of the above! So when I was given this Beauty Without Cruelty Full Volume Mascara to try, I jumped at the chance to try another mascara! The packaging for this mascara leans on the slightly cheap side. It's not unattractive or anything, but you wouldn't expect to pay a lot for this tube! Beauty Without Cruelty is a fantastic brand that creates all vegan, vegetarian products that aren't tested on animals. So this product uses more natural ingredients that what you're probably used to, making it great for people with sensitive eyes or allergies. The mascara wand is a normal, full bristle wand, which is fine but I do prefer a smaller, plastic wand as they tend to separate my eyelashes. Upon application, the colour is a nice, deep black and this is a WET mascara, meaning is definitely doesn't clump! However, it doesn't do a lot else either... I didn't notice it lengthening or thickening my lashes, it just left what I would call a pretty, natural finish. It's far from water proof (proved when I cried with laughter later in the day and was left with little smudges under my eyes), but this to me suggests it would be easy peasy to get off with water for people with extra-sensitive eyes. Being honest, I did end up having to layer on another mascara to get some decent volume and length. I didn't hate this mascara, but it just didn't deliver what I wanted - or, in my opinion, what it promised - full volume! It's a pretty, natural mascara that will best suit someone with sensitive eyes! Meli X
