I felt it was about dang time I spoke about my all-time favourite lipstick. As a natural redhead, I've always struggled to find nude lipsticks that don't look too dark or "brown" on my skintone. Despite being pale, I have a quite purple undertone in my lips, so whatever I put on them invariably looks darker!
This lipstick is 'Crystal Baby" by Estee Lauder. At £22, it's certainly not the cheapest lipstick I own, but it's the one I buy again and again. This is (apparently) Victoria Beckhams fave too, and it's easy to see why. It's creamy, comfortable, smells sweet but not-too-strong, it's easy to apply, it lasts... but, obviously, the colour is the most important thing. The colour is PERFECT - a light colour, clearly visible but also not too in your face. It can be worn with or without lip liner, with or without a mirror, and goes with every single outfit and make-up look I've ever worn! It's the perfect my-lip-colour-but-BETTER lipstick; nothing too drastic, but beautifully even with a slight, moisturizing shine. What's your favourite lipstick? Meli X
