Hey! I've been really excited to write this review! I've seen these lipsticks all over the internet for months now, and thought they looked so beautiful and eye-catching - I was intrigued! My love bestie bought me one as a surprise for my birthday, and I was soooo excited to try it out!
Firstly, the packaging is SO pretty - I love it! It came in a box (which I unfortunately forgot to save and photograph - my bad!) but it was bright and floral and summery with a really pretty pattern all over.
The name is a tad strange (Winky Lux... OK, I admit it, I laughed!) Here's what the website says: "Bestselling lip stain! This balm stain applies on clear then reacts with your skin's pH levels, uniquely creating the perfect shade of pink lips just for you. Each Flower Balm contains a real chrysanthemum in the color of your choice. Not to mention, it's coconut scented, giving it an aroma so enticing you'll want to wear it every day".

HOW GORGEOUS is that?! You can see the REAL flower inside with the clear lipstick at the base there - it's so classy, so beautiful, it makes me think of fairytales or something... I'd have died over this as a kid! And I have to admit, I'm totally fangirling over it as an adult...
Anyway! Down to business! The scent, as described, is absolutely beautiful. I didn't realise it was coconut until I read the description, but it is sweet and lovely and smells kind of edible, so coconut makes sense! On application, it goes on clear as described and turns veeeery slowly into a personalised shade of pink. You definitely don't need a mirror, as it's so subtle, but that's what makes this lipstick/balm so perfect I think; the beauty of this product is totally within the packaging. It's more like a stunning lip balm rather than a makeup statement, but anyone who sees you applying this will be so envious! It's possibly one of the prettiest lip balms I've ever seen, even if it doesn't make that much of an impact once wearing it. That said, it's very comfortable and smells delicious, so it's lovely to wear, too! I think it's perfect for wearing on top of other colours - except I wouldn't want to ruin the bullet, it's too damn pretty! I absolutely love this product. It's so affordable and pretty, it will suit literally everyone and it makes the loveliest present! It does come in different colours too so if pink isn't your thing you can try the other colours!
