Hey! Continuing my look at dryer, more sensitive skin types this month, I wanted to take a look at this Eurecin UreaRepair Plus Footcream for extremely dry, rough feet! This is the final product from my collab with HelloSkinShop and I've really enjoyed trying product for sensitive, more problematic skin. Feet are a concern of mine - in that I hate 'em. Feet gross me out, I can't help it! I really hate dry, rough looking feet with poorly maintained nails (shuddering just thinking about it!) so it's really important mine look as soft & smooth as possible, with looked after nails - basically, sandal ready at all times! I found this foot cream on HelloSkinShop and knew straight away I wanted to try it. I find foot creams really annoying - let's admit it, they're an effort to put on because they you can't stand up without getting every single grain of dust and teensy little hairs getting stuck to the underside of your foot (ewwww)... so then you have to wash them, which means moisturising them again and... well, you can see where this is going! I was after an unscented, DEEPLY moisturising lotion that I could put on at night (and in the mornings when needed) to really hydrate my feet and keep dry skin at bay. The last couple I've tried have been somewhat disappointing in that they've been sticky and heavily scented, so I was really crossing my fingers with this one!
So as it claims, it's meant to be, "immediate, long-lasting" for, "extremely dry, rough feet". I decided to apply this after showers when possible, and at night before bed. The cream itself is not as thick as I'm used to where foot creams are concerned - but I actually found I liked the lighter, less sticky formula. There's barely a scent to this which I really appreciated - a lot of foot creams have a loooot of added perfume in which can be a bit over-baring! It was really quick to absorb, but left a lovely hydrated feeling to the skin. It definitely didn't leave feet sticky, thankfully, but it did leave a bit of a film on the skin (which I imagine is to help keep moisture being absorbed). The first couple of times I used this, I didn't really notice much of a difference and I was a bit disappointed. However, I persisted - and that's when this product really started to shine! With continued use, after a while my feet had ZERO dry skin on them. That's without exfoliating or scrubbing them - all I used was this cream! My feet looked healthy and felt softer - I noticed a dramatic difference to the texture and feel of the skin. I was so surprised - after the first couple of goes didn't really do anything, I'd lost hope in this product! Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised. I now absolutely love this foot cream - I've stopped using other ones I have! This does the job, no question! I highly recommend using this if you want lovely, soft feet!
