Ok, ok! I know a lot of you are going to be recoiling in horror that I use face wipes... but I'm a lazy beauty addict, ok?! I like to remove the majority of my makeup first with a wipe before cleansing the skin. I find wipes are ideal for travelling and festivals, too, so I do tend to stock up on them for moments of need! The Super Detox Deep Purification Wipes are by the brand Pacifica (a 100% vegan and cruelty-free brand), and I fell in love with the packaging. The ingredients intrigued me - they sound like an ingredient list for a green smoothie! Kale, cucumber, mangosteen... it's packed with nutritious foods that are meant to be great for the skin when consumed, let alone put on the skin. I was looking forward to trying these to say the least!
I can't say enough how much I love the packaging for there beauties. Pacifica do a number of other wipes (a number of underarm wipes perfect for travelling, and some with different ingredients like Cactus Water and Coconut), and they all have b-e-a-utiful designs. Ideal for chucking in your hand bag and cleansing on the go! As far as functionality goes, they definitely do the job - I found them lovely and wet (can't stand a dry wipe), and it removed my makeup well! I did use them around the eyes to remove my mascara with no problems whatsoever (always a tricky area!) and one wipe was enough for my whole face (to be honest, if you need to use more than one you must be wearing a hella amount of makeup!) At £7.19, cheap they are not - they're more pricey than the infamous No7 wipes! However, the purity of the natural ingredients (and they fact they WORK) make this a really good purchase for when only wipes will do and you really need a good cleanse. Meli X
