Hello! Bit overdue for this, but I've had both of these concealers and used them for a while now so feel I can give a more accurate review! If you haven't been hiding in a closet for the past year or so, you'll know Revolution came out with their Conceal & Define concealer, which is apparently a dupe for the pricier Tarte Shape Tape concealer, a beloved (albeit heavy) concealer for Instagrammers and influencers alike.
Revolution's concealer retails at £4 (barg), whereas Tarte's concealer is a costly £23.
So is it a dupe? Let's see!

Packaging-wise, you can see there appears to be far more product in the Tarte one. There's 3.4ml in the Revolution concealer, compared to a whopping 10ml in the Tarte tube.
I decided to do a side-by-side comparison to see the difference.

You can see here that the Tarte concealer looks to be a heavier pigment that the Revolution with one swipe. However, after trying these several times they have a very similar consistency and coverage.
Here's a hand swatch for comparison:

Not much difference so far! I used a wet Beauty Blender to blend it in.

So can you see a difference? Honestly, there isn't much difference between the two at all. They are both heavy coverage with a fairly matte finish to them. I found throughout the day my undereye area did crease quite a bit, and when I powered on top to set it my skin looks quite cakey and textured, which I wasn't a fan of. My skin hates that heavy Instagram-style make-up, so I tried applying it very lightly and blended using my fingers and the sponge and found it worked far better for me.
What do you think? Can you see a difference?
