Hey guys!
I have been tinting my brows for YEARS. As a natural redhead, my natural brows are practically invisible. Around the age of 18 I got fed up with filling them in so I decided to tint them myself.
I KNOW - looking back, I can't believe I had the balls to tint them myself without first getting a professional to do it! But fortunately this product is pretty fool-proof, so it turned out ok.
I have used Eylure's Dybrow kit for over 10 years now and it hasn't failed me once. I use the dark brown kit as I currently have strawberry blonde hair and I find this colour works best for me.
The pack comes with a little cream colour tube and a little bottle of activator. You mix 2cm of cream colour with 5 drops of activator and mix the two together until you get a creamy brown solution.
After giving it a good mix, I apply it to my brows. I make sure to cleanse my face beforehand so there is no residue on my brows (this could stop the dye performing as it should). The mixture supplies plenty of product, so I usually put a thin layer over my lashes too.
Once it's applied I use a cotton bud to clean the surrounding area so I don't accidentally tint my skin, and I leave it on for about 25 minutes.
After I've waited long enough, I use a damp cotton pad or a flannel to carefully wipe off the product.
Usually, I then go ahead and repeat this process as I like to get every single hair right down to the route, and one go-over generally doesn't get every single hair for me (probably my application isn't spot-on, but doing it twice doesn't bother me!)
Et voila! Easy peasy, right? I tend to cleanse my brow area again just to make sure all the dye is off, and I'll then usually wax then into shape. I do this process roughly every two weeks as my brows grow quickly!
