Hey guys!
I've finally used this moisturiser up so I thought it would be a good time to review it. I've used quite a few items now by Natura Siberica; they're a fab brand if you like natural, affordable skincare. (Check out my review of their night mask here).
The Natura Siberica Snow Cladonia Day Cream has an SPF 15 and is made with wild-harvested Siberian herbs - as all their products are. The company creates organic certified products, so if you want free-from skincare this should be a go-to, especially considering the low price!
Here's what the product claims to do:
"Snow Cladonia, which stays green during severe Siberian winters, helps to energise and protect skin.
Natural Vitagenyl® gives skin a smoother texture and improved elasticity by boosting the production of Hyaluronic Acid, which deeply moisturises the skin.
SYN®-COLL aids and encourages the regeneration of skin cells by stimulating collagen synthesis. SYN®-AKE has excellent smoothing and anti-wrinkle properties.
Wild-harvested Siberian ashberry extract and organic wheat oil beautifully soothe and condition the skin."
Sounds beautiful, right?
I've since used this entire tube up - so what are my thoughts? As a partially oily, partially dry, prone-to-blemishes kind of girl (I know, how lucky am I), I'd say this is a great all-rounder. It smells fresh and free from heavy scents, but it is quite thick upon application. This is great for more mature skin or skin that requires lots of hydration, but as my skin is combination I found this a little too clogging after a couple of days.
I started applying it to my dry areas only (forehead) and skipping a day of use, and I found this worked for me much better.
It's a nice pump container which I found hygienic, but does leave you wondering how much is left in the bottle after the pump stops working. I'm pretty sure I used the whole thing - this 50ml bottle lasted me absolutely ages!
It's not something I plan to purchase again because it's not necessarily designed to meet my specific skincare concerns, but I really do love this brand. Their hand wash in particular is lovely and has premium vibes. I'm constantly impressed by the high quality of the ingredients and the low price point. They do have a more premium "caviar" range, but compared to other brands the price is still very affordable.
I would love to try their face mask and their face and neck serum. Have you tried anything from their range?
